About
Mission
Freedom for Life Re-Entry Coalition is a group of community and faith-based organizations, local, county and state policy makers, volunteers, collaborators, correction and other government agencies with in a local community that are networking with a common purpose and agreed-upon objectives/outcomes that achieve the goal of addressing the needs of men and women released from prison, on parole, probation, or recovering addicts and their families. Freedom for Life Re-Entry Coalition works within the state and requires a large number of resources, organizations and volunteers and therefore requires a structured approach to coalition building. We serve Clark, Garland, Grant, Hot Springs, and Saline Counties.
The Freedom for Life Re-Entry Coalition works on behalf of the formerly incarcerated, parolees, probationers, and recovery addicts to improve reentry conditions, which include but not limited too; housing, transportation, medical needs, food/clothing, job training, employment identification, education, life skills, and family reunification.
The Freedom for Life Re-Entry Coalition's purpose is to inform and educate the community at large about the critical importance of the reentry process and show to be beneficially involved by holding monthly open meetings that promote solution-focused/outcome-driven creative developmental strategies through open discourse and collaborative action. Also, to advocate for the structuring of laws and polices that make a reentry process beneficial to returning citizens and by extension to their families and our communities as a whole.
