PRC-NWA is a 50-bed transitional house for males in Springdale, Arkansas. The facility is a dorm-style building, with most of the bedrooms having 3-4 residents living in them. Meals are provided. Residents are required to work full-time and are given plenty of help to find work. Once a resident is working full-time, he is required to pay rent of $14/day. PRC-NWA shares the building with the Returning Home Center, which houses satellite offices for Goodwill, Labor Finders, Dress for Success, and other providers who service re-entry needs. During their 90-day stay at PRC-NWA, residents are drug tested at least once per week and are required to attend a minimum of 12 hours per week of substance abuse recovery classes, life and/or job skills classes, financial management classes, and other types of classes. Those residents who do not have a high school diploma or GED are required to work towards earning their GED, while at PRC-NWA.
