Non-Emergency Medicaid Transportation SCAT is also the Medicaid Brokerage Agent for three regions in Arkansas. Clients that receive Medicaid and are eligible for Medicaid transportation may schedule trips to Medicaid providers for medical appointments at no charge. These appointments must be scheduled through the Medicaid scheduling number 1-800-385-9992. Clients traveling more than 2 counties away from their home county will have to obtain a travel referral from their local physician or referring physician before scheduling the appointment. All appointments must be scheduled at least 2 working days in advance. Appointments may be scheduled up to 30 days in advance.
