Families and Children Together, Inc. (F.A.C.T., Inc.) is a single purpose, private non-profit organization. Established in 1995, F.A.C.T., Inc. was designated as a Head Start grantee on July 1, 1996 and subsequently awarded Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) funding. In 1999, an award was granted to operate an Early Head Start option. In 2009 we further expanded the Early Head Start program. With this added option, a seamless stream of services for children birth to five became a reality. Through competitive applications, the Head Start services expanded to include three additional counties in 2014. The agency provides preschool services in Calhoun, Columbia, Dallas, Hempstead, Lafayette, Nevada, Ouachita, and Union Counties.
