Description
We offer a comprehensive parenting and life skills program via its’ Earn While You Learn curricula (EWYL). The material includes pregnancy health, nutrition, child birth and infant safety and additional modules that cover a multitude of subjects. Lessons include, but are not limited to, early childhood development, discipline, step parenting, budgeting, job seeking, anger management, and a host of other important material. Clients who enroll in our EWYL attend weekly classes and earn points for their participation. Points have a monetary value and clients are able to purchase items needed for their newborns by shopping in our Baby Boutique.
The center also offers life skills education for incarcerated and paroled women in Union County as they work to return to the community and their lives.
