PASOs cultivates the skills of Latino Community Health Workers (also called Promotores in Spanish), both as part of our staff team and in Latino communities across South Carolina. These natural leaders receive leadership training to build on their skills so they can help educate their communities and connect them to vital information on preventative health care, positive parenting, and early childhood development. The teams of Latino Community Health Workers share this information with others in a natural way and help them connect to the resources they need to lead healthy lives.
