Services

Each student that attends HSU pays a health fee. Our services are free to currently enrolled Henderson students. The Student Health Center is funded by the student health fee. The Student Health Center offers unlimited office visits, the self care station, appointments to see the Advanced Practice Nurse, basic laboratory tests and some immunizations at no extra cost to Henderson students. An advanced practice nurse (APN) is at Health Services 30 hours a week during the fall and spring semesters and 15 hours/week during the summer terms. The APN can prescribe prescription medications. Students may take the written prescription to any pharmacy. Students are responsible for the cost of the prescriptions.
